How It Works
The QUICKLOAD trailer scale works on air-ride* equipped trucks and trailers with single or dual leveling valves. It converts pressure in the air suspension into a very accurate on-the-ground weight. The basic principals is: the heavier the load, the more air pressure is required to maintain ride-height. Truck and trailer weights are automatically calculated by the QUICKLOAD in-dash scale/display where the steer, drive, GVW, and NET payload weights can be displayed.

Doesn't an AIR GAUGE work on the same principal?

Yup, sure does. Of course, if it was that simple, there'd be no reason to engineer an on-board scale that gives you accurate weights right down to the axle. If you've used an air guage system before, then you already know why we created QUICKLOAD; if you haven't, then you can thank us later for sparing you that particular experience. To the point: every successful owner/operator eventually realizes that "pretty close" just doesn't cut it.

But an AIR GAUGE is a lot cheaper than a scale.
